Hi everyone

Despite everything going on in the world outside we had a bumper turnout for Monday's meeting to enjoy the talk by Penny Dixon. Thanks Penny for sharing your artistic journey with us.

The travelling books go from strength to strength. Thank you to Meriel for running this for us. Here are just a few beautiful examples:

In the news

Winterbourne House in Edgbaston, the Arts and Crafts home of the Nettlefold family, has recently been the inspiration for a brand new collection of Liberty quilting cotton. Early last year, Liberty Fabrics contacted Winterbourne House and Garden  to ask if they could view the collection as inspiration for their next quilting collection. The researchers were charmed by what they found, and a collection of eleven fabrics in three colourways was developed.

The collection is now for sale as fat quarters in the Winterbourne shop. It's sure to be a hit with local quilters and embroiderers.

Visit the Winterbourne House, University of Birmingham website here.

Bye for now...
