Hello, and welcome to the Birmingham Embroiderers' Guild Blog. Members will already know who we are and what we enjoy, but for people finding us for the first time, we are a group of people of all ages and skill levels, who meet to share our love of embroidery.
We are a local branch of the Embroiderers' Guild, who meet on the second Monday of the month, in the evening. Meetings are held at the Friends Meeting House in Cotteridge, south Birmingham (UK, not Alabama!) - see this post for more details. Guests are very welcome to come along to meetings to meet members and see if you like what we do.
At monthly meetings we share projects we've been working on and enjoy talks and workshops, both led by members and by guest speakers. We also have a programme of longer day workshops, all of which are on the calendar.
We look forward to meeting you soon!
