March Meeting - Monday March 9th
Hi everyone
The sun is out, and Spring is definitely in the air.
On Monday we have the March meeting with Anne leading an Early Bird session at 6pm. Anne will be exploring the topic of embroidery fabrics and tools, so if you have any questions about the basics, including threads, hoops and other essentials, this is the session for you.
Our speaker at the main meeting is Penny Dixon, talking about Fantastic Fibres. Some of you may have seen Penny at the Midlands Arts Centre teaching on one of her courses and you will know that she is a wet felting supremo!

The raffle colour for March is yellow.
TV recommendation of the week
BBC’s ‘Secrets at the Museum’ is a chance to go behind the scenes at the Victoria and Albert Museum and discover their treasures and the work of the conservators. The episode featuring the Mary Quant exhibition was particularly interesting. All the episodes are on iPlayer now.
