It's a pink meeting 8 September (and don't forget your cheque book)

I know it doesn't seem 5 minutes since we had our summer party, packed our buckets & spades along with our summer sewing projects and set off for the long summer holidays.

As we know all good things must come to an end and it's that time of the year again when our annual subscriptions are due.  Remember it costs the branch money to pay cash into the bank so please have your cheque books at the ready or arrange to pay by bank transfer if you can.

Pink Raffle:

This months raffle bag is pink so whether it is  'baby', 'shocking' or my favorite pink 'Rosé' please try to bring a small something to add to the bag. It doesn't have to be stitch (or wine) related; the people that have won so far love the wide variety of items in the bags.

Tolkien Project: 

If you have been working hard on your Tolkien piece remember to bring it along on Monday.

Members special:

This is our special member's workshop and we have  three folios: Africa, Plant Forms and  Fabric Spray and Paint by Vicky Lugg on loan from the Guild collection.


With the whole meeting devoted to the Folios we should get plenty of opportunity to see all three and will be able to take photographs and make sketches. Lorna will have ideas for those of us who don't sketch to have a go.

Don't forget next years Summer competition is  'Inspired by the Folios' so this will be a chance to do some preparation. 

None members are always welcome to come along for a try.
