A Tale of One Member

We are in troubled times but Covid has not stopped Embroiderers Guild Birmingham from offering some superb content in our virtual monthly meetings.

On 11th January it was the turn of Liz Fossey to share her life in stitch and Liz certainly showed us how to take a highlight of the annual calendar  and make it look wonderful on Zoom.

Those of us who have had the pleasure of Liz's work in our travelling books know that Liz is a super-creative talented textile artist. In this presentation Liz shared images of that superb work and took us through her life, with visuals, music and a myriad of fascinating detail about her early life, her home town Nottingham, and her many achievements, all with a focus on textiles and creativity.

Many thanks Liz for embracing the daunting task of presenting on line with such flair and confidence. It is always lovely to learn more about EG colleagues and your talk gave us that opportunity and so much more.
