Stitch of the month, Magic mushrooms and Flying machines

 Hi everyone

Many thanks to all the contributors for October Stitch of the Month.

Siennese stitch was a new one for some of us but it has produced some real creativity.

Clockwise from top left:

Helen's landscape; Janet Lee's clematis; Meriel's Tuscan landscape; Susan's beautiful piece (with credit to Angela for fabric and thread); Angela's mushrom; Janet Lee's toadstools.

And so to November. The new stitch of the month is Crown Stitch.

And finally, a message from the Army Flying Museum in Hampshire. They are looking for embroiderers to help with a project depicting highlights from the history of Army flying. For more information contact Dan Ball at outreach@flying-museum.org.uk
