Thank you for the contributions to the French Knot challenge. We didn't get ourselves tied up in knots, although I did regret stitching on to paper!
The stitches for September are Fly Stitch and Feather Stitch. That might suggest birds but of course those stitches will be used by you for all manner of design and creations.
