Stitch of the Month - July

Hi Everyone

Thank you everyone who contributed to the chain stitch challenge (the chain gang? 😂) 

For August the stitch of the month is French Knots. The challenge is to use french knots    alone or in combination with straight stitch and/or chain stitch. Photos can be sent to the WhatsApp group or emailed to Debbie.

Does anyone know why they are called French knots? And what do they call them in France, I wonder?
