Margaret Fairhead - Workshop 30th June - Updated Requirements List

Many thanks to Margaret Fairhead for her fascinating talk last Monday. We felt particularly privileged to get up close to pieces that are normally only seen firmly attached to gallery walls!

For those of you going to Margaret's workshop on Saturday 30th June, here is the updated requirements list:

            Sewing Machine

            Embroidery foot (darning foot) for free machining

            Machine Instruction book if required

            Extra machine needles

            Usual sewing equipment

            Embroidery hoop (s) – small and medium if you                      have   them

            Biro or felt pen

            Notebook and pencil

            Machine threads in black, greys and white – normal                thread and shiny etc if you have them

           

            Optional – a few assorted hand sewing threads and                small bits of sheer type fabrics in above colours –                   some will be available.

Margaret will now provide the the main fabrics. There will be a small charge of £1.50 to cover the cost.
