Decorative and Useful 

Many thanks must go to Gill Gregory for such an entertaining and informative glimpse into the world of retail with her fascinating talk about her shop, Crafts ‘n’ Sew On. 

There was clearly a lot of love in the room for Gill as so many Guild members were former customers of her shop on the Pershore Road in Stirchley.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could still  pop in there for all our embroidery shopping? 

But now that we've had such a fascinating insight into the ups and (often hilarious) downs of owning an embroidery shop, there must be someone out there who wants to start one of their own? 

Ruby Squares

Don't forget to pick up your canvas and get busy creating a ruby square for our 40th anniversary display. If you haven't yet collected a canvas they'll still be available at our December meeting.
