Tonight we are delighted to be welcoming a Samantha Priest from the Costume Department of the BRB.
This will be a great chance to get ideas for the December competition theme of Costume, so get thinking and planning your piece, we will have a members vote on the night and the cup is up for grabs.

Again you will have chance to see the sample pack for our Christmas meeting when we are having a practical evening 'Darning with a Difference' with Christine Plummer. Christine will have a pack available on the evening for £6 and tonight you will have chance to see the pack, this will also give you an idea of what to bring from your own stash if you prefer.
What you will need:
Cotton scrim and Jute scrim approximately A4 dyed if preferred
Contrast or complementary threads e.g. Wool, cotton, ribbon, fabric.... anything to add textureLarge eyed needle and scissors
Christine will bring individual items to buy or packs which are £6 .
The Raffle bag is Silver so if you can do bring a small contribution - it all adds to the great fun of going through the prize bag.
