June Meeting Monday - 13th please pay with coins if possible
We are looking forward to Mondays meeting when our speaker is Jude Lovatt from Wolverhampton branch the talk is titled What if...What next so that sounds intriguing.
Regional Day
There will be lots of talk of Regional Day, if you haven't already make sure you get your ticket tonight, and if you can do sign up for the rota (save £2 on the ticket price).We do need to beg steal or borrow a few items so if you have any display stands/plate stands suitable to show competition pieces in a table top display please can we borrow them, do put your name on to make sure you get them back. Please bring them along to the meeting on Monday 13 June.
The hanging completed by the Washwood Heath Pakistani Womens' Group Project will be on display. It's big - if any one has a quilt hanging stand that will take a large double to kings size or a photographic back drop can you have a work with Anne at the meeting.
Those of you have promised cakes - thank you, if you are not able to come on the day please contact a committee member to make arrangements. If you do want containers/plates back please make sure you put your name on them - otherwise they are likely to end up on the sales table!
We do have lots of good quality 2nd hand books for the stall but more are always welcome. Please bring them along on the day.
We are still collecting coins for the float on the big day so if possible please pay with coins on the door and for the raffle.
Travelling Books
Please bring all books to the meeting even if you have unfinished pieces If the person you are due to pass them to is not there please hand them to a committee member, If you can't make July please make arrangements to pass your book back by another member of your group or anyone you know who will be at the meeting, if you are unable to do this please speak to a committee member.Capability Brown
We are hoping to get more members to take part so if you are feeling inspired please see Clare. If you have a finished or part finished piece that may encourage others to join in do bring them along to the meeting. Leamington's work is now on display at Charlecote so why not treat yourself to a day out to look and be inspired.
Raffle
The raffle colour is Turquoise and we are sure to have exciting bags created by members so do bring along a small contribution if you can.
