June Branch Meeting - The History of Buttons
At this month's branch meeting (June 8th), Jennifer Swindells will be joining us for a brilliant talk on the history of buttons. If you've got an old or treasured button in your button tin, why not bring it along to show Jennifer, and see if she can help trace its history for you.
Additionally, the competition theme for December will be 'Put a Button On It', so you may want to bring your camera or notepad in case any inspiration strikes!
If you haven't already sorted your proxy vote for The Guild Constitutional Change Clare will be there tonight and is happy to take proxy votes along to the EGM for you.
If you want to know more follow this link https://www.embroiderersguild you will need your membership number on your membership card and your password.
Don't forget this is your last chance as the EGM is on June 20!
If you're new to the Guild, visitors are welcome, and the first session is free, with a charge of £4 thereafter. Please see here for details of where we meet. See you there!
