Time for Competition planning
As you know we have our own competitions twice a year, at the summer party and at out Christmas Meeting.
Last month we had 'Happy Days'
In December our theme is Holidays. If you haven't entered before or for a long time it is a great chance to show your work to fellow members. The theme can be interpreted as widely as you like and knowing our members this will bring in a very wide range of work.
It might be a piece you have had tucked away for years or an item you have created especially for this competition. Any work is accepted, a long as it has some stitching - hand or machine; it can be a framed picture or a 3D extravaganza, a cushion or a bag.
Voting is simple - dishes will be provided and a coin of any value counts as one vote (and swells our funds). Members can vote as many times as they wish and the entry with the most coins is announced during the meeting and the cup is handed over.
