May Meeting Monday 9th

In May we are having a Practical Activities session and asking you all to help with some further organising for the Regional day 18th June. So do bring along your normal sewing kit, we will have the library bag as well with threads and basics, these evenings are always popular and fun so do come along and join in.
We are also having a demonstration of silk paper making from Margaret who will bring her beautiful tree that we will use at the library for National Stitch Day in August so that people can join in and add leaves.

When buying raffle tickets and paying on the door tonight and next meeting can you please if possible pay in coins we can then use that as our float for the regional day saving a trip to the bank for Anne!

Don't forget this will be another chance to buy your tickets and to sign up to volunteer for regional day;£20 for volunteers or £22 otherwise. You can also see Margaret to find out if there are spaces left on the Cas Holmes(our Madeira Lecture Speaker) workshop which is the day after Regional Day.
The raffle colour is blue and we are sure to have exciting bags created by members so do bring along a small contribution if you can.
If you're new to the Guild, visitors are welcome, and the first session is free, with a charge of £4 thereafter. Please see here for details of where we meet. See you there!
