Come Stitch With Us! Birmingham Embroiderers' Guild at the Library of Birmingham
As you may be aware, Birmingham Embroiderers' Guild have been talking to the Library of Birmingham about having a monthly sewing event at the library.
We now have their go ahead, so the first event will take place on Saturday the 2nd of November, from 11am in the mezzanine floor, above the cafe. They have a lovely range of food, cakes and drinks on sale, however you are also welcome to bring your own food.
This is a great opportunity to meet other people who are also into sewing, embroidery and other related crafts; we would like to see any projects that you're doing at the moment.
Please invite any of your friends, this is open to all, not just Branch or Guild members.
We will be bringing binca and felt for people to use if they're new to sewing, so if you've never picked up a needle and thread before, please feel free to come along - you'll find a friendly welcome and someone to help you out.
