Nicola Jarvis workshop

The workshop on Saturday was a perfect example of a lovely relaxed day of hand stitching. Thank you to Nicola for instantly remembering all our names and being so calm and patient!  I've even learned how to thread a needle properly!

Volunteering for the Guild - 24th November

We are keen to set up a Young Embroiderers group for Birmingham and to raise awareness we'll be running a stand at Selly Manor in Bourneville on Saturday 24th November. We need volunteers to support this by being on the stand for just an hour on that day. Can you spare an hour? If so, please add your name to the sign-up sheet  at the meeting on 12th November.

Video of the week

Nicola Jarvis recommended the website of American stitch supremo Mary Corbet. Whether you'd like to remind yourself of a technique or learn a new stitch from scratch, Mary's videos are worth checking out.  Click here for the link.
