Our meeting on 11th December is our Christmas party with festive fare and a chance to enjoy a talk from our very own Deed Curry. Deed will be sharing her experiences working in costume and life as Lady Mayoress. It promises to be a fascinating insight.
The raffle bag colour for this month is gold so bring in your contributions and let's get that piano groaning with golden goodies. Janette will be ready to sell you that special golden raffle ticket!
We'll have our sales table up and running so come and have a look for useful additions to your winter stitching supplies.
And last but definitely not least, don't forget your entries for our Christmas competition. As you'll know, our twice-yearly competitions are always a great chance to show your work to fellow members. The theme this Christmas is 'Using Decorative Needlework Requirements'.That theme can be interpreted as widely as you like and knowing our members this will bring in a very wide range of work. And of course there's the chance to take home some beautiful silverware in the shape of our coveted competition trophy. There's still time to rustle up something exquisite!
See you all at 7 for 7.30!.
